What you might notice about Oasis Life is that we encourage all our people to get actively
involved in encouraging and ministering to everyone they come across both in the church
and outside of it…

Gone are the days when just the pastors and leaders minister to people, the time has come for all of
us to be involved. Ministry isn't a formal service, it's about showing love, healing the sick, encouraging those
who don't have hope and celebrating the goodness of God. When you come to Oasis, you will have the
opportunity to be prayed for and encouraged by fellow members who love to see God pour His love on
others. If you have a passion for ministry, then you too can join this group and make yourself available to go
and minister.

If you are part of the ministry team, you will also have the opportunity to go out and minister in other
towns and communities on outreach. We actually encourage all our members to join us on ministry trips
whether you've just joined or been with us for years. Being involved in the Ministry Team just keeps you in
the loop and you'll be contacted about ministry opportunities and for training evenings. Get involved today.

  Pastor's Conference in Nelpsruit - 11 to 12 February 2011

Pastor Colin had the honour of ministering at the Pastor's Conference hosted by Iris in Nelspruit on the 11th and 12th of February. We decided to take our bible school students along and they had a blast. We thought we would let on you in on what they experienced. Below is a write up from one of our students. Nelspruit Conference Newsletter (Sam Tshabalala Oasis Word School Student What a super-charging conference! This kind of charging is beyond turbo-charging in cars; this was a Holy Ghost charging experience. I will tell you where the manifestation started to be seen on Saturday morning; it started with Pastor Khoza as he was interpreting for the man of God ? Pastor Colin. From there, the Saturday conference party went on. My friend I was on the last week of my forty days fasting, but I couldn’t hold it, we were soaking in the Spirit. When we sang the Zimbabwean song ?Mwari wa kanaka? meaning the Lord is beautiful, everybody was dancing including myself, not forgetting Pastor Colin. A newsletter is not enough to tell our conference experience. I was very touched by how preachers, pastors and men (and women) of God were caught-up in revelations which Pastor Collin taught. This was beyond religion; it was life-transfer from the throne. This was for the meek and humble, I started to remember what the kingdom of God is? which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Our Oasis Bible School team led by Nikki, it rocks! The team is so anointed and ever-ready for the spirituals. We have a real team and not a spooky one. I like the way we gel into situations and to allow God to be in charge. As a team we have blessed and we were blessed by Iris Ministry led by Pastor Surpressa. We were catered as kings and queens at Nelspruit, not forgetting how Cobus spoiled me and Mokgadi to and fro our journey. Last to mention, I was deeply touched by how Teisa (Director of Operations at Iris Children’s home) is so sold out with taking care of abused and abundant kids. As a team we were honoured at the privilege of praying for and sort-of-bonding with kids. I believe what we experienced there will make a mark in our lives that will not be erased. Highlights - I hear that, I can feel it, I receive it, I receive it, I... (Pastor Khoza). - If you don’t teach your church to laugh, they’ll cry (Pastor Surpresa). - If you don’t grow, you die. The church that doesn’t grow, it dies. We are growing! (Pastor Surpresa) - Heaven is my throne and the earth my footstool. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Where is heaven? (Pastor Colin) - Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. Crystal clear water that flows from the throne and the Lamb of God. Increase the anointing! (Pastor Colin) - We are in Africa. Africa; let’s boogie (Lead Singer)! Joyce, can we have this in our church (Pastor Colin)?

  Footprints Outreach - 11 September 2010

On the 11th of September 2010 the students of Oasis School of Life and Word went on an Outreach to Footprints@play Children’s Home situated near Lanseria airport in a beautiful part of the country side. A couple by the name of Terry and Yolanda Zafiropoulos along with their own children have opened their home to children that are either orphaned, abandoned or come from abusive situations. They house approximately 30 children and 11 staff and volunteers that all live on the same property and they give these children love and care, treating each child as if they were their own! Their needs are great, however they are rich in God's love and favor ? They walk in such amazing faith and giving of self! The students spent time with the children in a form of a Carnival. We played various fun games and races with them, face painting, coloring, teaching them ?Scooby-doo’ braiding with plastic strings. We had babies on our hips most of the time and loved on every one. We had the privilege of ministering prophetical and praying to the staff and volunteers as well doing prophetic art / pictures for them. We fed every one with Boerie rolls and juice at lunch time, with cup cakes and party packs for pudding. After lunch, whilst some of the smaller ones went to nap, a few students continued to play with the bigger kids and the rest of us set to work: We helped sort donations that we had brought along and some of the men did various physical tasks on the property; from welding swimming pool fencing, fixing zozo huts, water pumps, to putting up shelves and cots etc. The students did an incredible job with raising funds, arranging sponsorships, purchasing products and making beautiful party-packs, cup cakes and treats to take along and bless all with from the youngest to the eldest including staff and volunteers. They spent quality time with the children loving on them, playing and laughing with them and experientially living out Jesus within us. They were manifesting His love, His power, His grace, His goodness and kindness - the kingdom of God. This was an awesome day of Kingdom living and I believe each one found it very rewarding and a great blessing to be able to give out what we have in this way.   Hammanskraal Outreach - March & April 2010

We were once again blessed to have Bethel send a team out to us headed once again by Chris; many were blessed by their ministry at church on the 21st of March 2010. The following Monday we arranged a big crusade style meeting for the Bethel team in Hammanskraal. They were joined by our Bible School and prophetic team members. The encouraging thing was that we had most of the churches in the area working together for the first time.

We estimate that we had around 800 people attend throughout the day. Jannie Kriek now regularly takes a team to serve at Oasis Hammanskraal and the team always comes back excited and on fire after a time of ministry.
